Recently took my very well used Nelo Vanquish copy to be fixed and Terry has completely brought her back from the dead, every scratch and dent filled and sanded, new paint job inside, outside, seat and rudder, fixed the footplate, hand built the cockpit, replaced the steering cables and has kept the weight to the original 8kg! About time I wrote a review for Darryl and his wife. This business is an absolute mockery. Not only were my partner and I lied to about the previous work they had done (have since spoken with their past 'customers') but I had Darryl frequently avoid my calls to the point where I had to physically turn up at AFA just to understand what was going on and why he was so behind on the job.Towards the end I was told he had vertigo" and couldn't work on my truck but was more than able to work on other people's jobs instead. I ended up having to pay full price to him and his wife just to avoid going to court and delaying more time. I received shoddy workmanship

Requiring some minor gel-coat repairs I found it hard to find someone that would spend the time to actually colour match as close as possible. Other repairers dismissed my request for a colour match as I will try but most likely wont match". Allan offered to mix up the colours and try some samples to get it as close as possible. After the repair I have asked friends to see if they can spot anything odd on the side of the boat and when they couldn't I had to point out the repair. This was enough to have me as a returning client."

Simon provided a great service, prompt and polite at a very reasonable price. He fixed a crack in the shower floor that we had trouble finding someone to fix as we are travelling and all other areas, business were booked out months ahead.Top job, highly recommended.
